I had scriptures and healing materials from three different sources and didn't understand how to apply the materials. I was sick and continued to get worst with the keys from God's word at my fingertips. I didn't understand God's word. I didn't understand how to apply God's word. I didn't understand God's system of operation. A simple six-minute thumb surgery caused me to have a stroke, damaging the entire right side of my body. I received damage to my entire nervous system. I started having uncontrollable full body muscle spasms. I started having problems with my heart, breathing and blood pressure. My mouth would draw up to the right side of my face and there were constant trembles of my arms and legs. I had problems sleeping and my body temperatures increased to 100 degrees or more. I was sensitive to touch, cool temperatures and light. I could not control my own body movements at times and I had problems walking and talking. Touching my skull, neck, back and checking my reflexes would cause me to go into uncontrollable full body muscle spasms. I was told that I had a muscle build-up where there should not be any muscle and because of this muscle build-up and the massive strength that I had developed; I could break a bone in my neck. A doctor told me: due to the amount of time that I suffered and the complexity of the problems I had, that they would be with me for the rest of my life. The problems could not be fixed, repaired and there was no cure. I was seen by at least thirty or more doctors without any help. I felt sure I was going to die from all of the problems in my body. I could see myself dead lying in a casket. I decided that I was going to murder three of the doctors. God led me to a church where I received understanding of God's word. I learned God's system of operation. I also learned how to apply God's word to my life for the healing and deliverance that I needed. As a result of understanding and applying God's word to my life, in a three-month process I was delivered from the spirit of murder and healed from all of the damage to my entire body. I suffered for three years and two months because of the lack of understanding of God's word. I am still delivered, healed and have been teaching God's word for healing and deliverance for eleven years now.

The principles in this book are the principles that I learned and applied to my life and received my healing and deliverance from God's word. The principles in this book are the same principles that I have been teaching for the last eleven years and they are still delivering and healing God's people today. If humans are purely physical, and if it is the brain that does the work formerly assigned to the mind or soul, then how can it fail to be the case that all of our thoughts and actions are determined by the laws of neurobiology? If this is the case, then free will, moral responsibility, and, indeed, reason itself would appear to be in jeopardy. Nancey Murphy and Warren S. Brown here defend a non-reductive version of physicalism whereby humans are (sometimes) the authors of their own thoughts and actions. Did My Neurons Make Me Do It? brings together insights from both philosophy and the cognitive neurosciences to defeat neurobiological reductionism. One resource is a "post-Cartesian" account of mind as essentially embodied and constituted by action-feedback-evaluation-action loops in the environment, and "scaffolded" by cultural resources. Another is a non-mysterious account of downward (mental) causation explained in terms of a complex, higher-order system exercising constraints on lower-level causal processes. These resources are intrinsically related: the embeddedness of brain events in action-feedback loops is the key to their mentality, and those broader systems have causal effects on the brain itself. With these resources Murphy and Brown take on two problems in philosophy of mind: a response to the charges that physicalists cannot account for the meaningfulness of language nor the causal efficacy of the mental qua mental. Solutions to these problems are a prerequisite to addressing the central problem of the book: how can biological organisms be free and morally responsible? The authors argue that the free-will problem is badly framed if it is put in terms of neurobiological determinism; the real issue is neurobiological reductionism. In this volume, Karen Barad, theoretical physicist and feminist theorist, elaborates her theory of agential realism. Offering an account of the world as a whole rather than as composed of separate natural and social realms, agential realism is at once a new epistemology, ontology, and ethics. The starting point for Barad’s analysis is the philosophical framework of quantum physicist Niels Bohr. Barad extends and partially revises Bohr’s philosophical views in light of current scholarship in physics, science studies, and the philosophy of science as well as feminist, poststructuralist, and other critical social theories. In the process, she significantly reworks understandings of space, time, matter, causality, agency, subjectivity, and objectivity.

In an agential realist account, the world is made of entanglements of “social” and “natural” agencies, where the distinction between the two emerges out of specific intra-actions. Intra-activity is an inexhaustible dynamism that configures and reconfigures relations of space-time-matter. In explaining intra-activity, Barad reveals questions about how nature and culture interact and change over time to be fundamentally misguided. And she reframes understanding of the nature of scientific and political practices and their “interrelationship.” Thus she pays particular attention to the responsible practice of science, and she emphasizes changes in the understanding of political practices, critically reworking Judith Butler’s influential theory of performativity. Finally, Barad uses agential realism to produce a new interpretation of quantum physics, demonstrating that agential realism is more than a means of reflecting on science; it can be used to actually do science.
